Sebastian Herkner
Sebastian Herkner is a German designer and a graduate of HfG Offenbach University of Art and Design. In 2006, he founded his eponymous studio, where his work spans furniture, objects, interior architecture, and exhibition design. His approach is defined by a deep appreciation for traditional craftsmanship, combined with a curiosity for modern technologies and a bold exploration of colour, materiality, and texture.
For Wendelbo, Sebastian Herkner has designed the Mate Side Table, the iconic Rest Bench, and the Case collection - a series of sofas and hubs that bring the cocooning comfort and tranquillity of home into workplace and hospitality settings.
Resting on an elegant wooden base, the collection includes Case High Back, Case Low Back, Case Combi, and Case Hub, each offering a refined balance of functionality and inviting comfort.
