Set above the pace of Ginza, Matsuya’s new lounge area offers a composed place to pause within one of Tokyo’s most active districts. At the heart of the space, the Montholon Lounge Chair by Tristan Lohner provides a soft counterpoint to the salon’s precise architecture.

References to Ginza’s character appear subtly throughout the space. Reflective ceiling and wall panels introduce a gentle sheen, while accents of traditional Edo purple add depth and warmth, linking the contemporary setting to the district’s cultural heritage.
Lightly lifted on a recessed base, the Montholon Lounge Chair provides generous comfort without visual heaviness. Its freestanding presence aligns naturally with the VIP salon’s measured atmosphere – a place for quiet waiting and rest.
