Sarah Rousselle
After graduating from Strate School of Design in 2007, French-born designer Sarah Rousselle gained experience working for design agencies across France, the Netherlands, the US, and the UK. In 2016, she established her own multidisciplinary design and creative consultancy studio. Rousselle’s work is defined by a balance of analytical precision and poetic expression, resulting in designs that embody both elegance and emotion.
For Wendelbo, Sarah Rousselle has designed the Lobby collection, a refined ensemble featuring a compact 2-seater sofa and a lounge chair, both defined by their low-slung profile and tranquil presence. Characterised by calm, feminine silhouettes, the fully upholstered design extends seamlessly to the ground. Two pointed, ellipse-shaped elements gently embrace the generous base and seat cushion, creating a harmonious balance of softness and structure.
