Standards in practice

Since 1955, decency, trust and respect have shaped the way Wendelbo works. Today, these principles guide our approach to working conditions, business conduct, and how concerns can be raised and addressed.

We use established policies, recognised external frameworks and independent assessments to set expectations, monitor practices and identify areas for improvement.

BSCI AUDITS

Assessing social compliance

Our production site in Vietnam is regularly assessed by independent auditors under the amfori BSCI framework. The assessment covers 13 performance areas, including social management systems, worker involvement and protection, freedom of association, remuneration, working hours, occupational health and safety, environmental protection and ethical business behaviour.

The audits provide an external assessment of current practices and identify areas requiring further attention. The findings provide a structured basis for follow-up and continued improvement.

Whistleblowing

Wendelbo has established channels for employees and other people connected to our operations to raise concerns about suspected misconduct or other serious matters.

At our production site in Vietnam, concerns can be raised with HR or the trade union by email, phone or through dedicated feedback boxes. A local procedure sets out how concerns are assessed, investigated and followed up.
