COMMUNITY

Supporting our people

The people behind our furniture are central to Wendelbo. We aim to create a working environment where employees are treated with respect and have access to safe working conditions, representation and channels for raising concerns.

At our production site in Vietnam, this work includes regular BSCI audits, a registered trade union, collective bargaining arrangements and initiatives to support inclusive employment.

BSCI AUDITS

Monitoring working conditions

Our production facilities in Vietnam are regularly assessed by independent auditors under the amfori BSCI framework. The audits cover areas including remuneration, working hours, occupational health and safety, freedom of association, discrimination, and business ethics. The findings provide a structured basis for identifying and following up on areas for improvement.

The site also has a registered trade union and collective bargaining arrangements, providing formal structures for employee representation.

EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES

Inclusive employment

At our production site in Vietnam, we seek to create suitable employment opportunities for people who may face barriers in the labour market.

As of September 2026, our workforce includes 11 employees with disabilities and two employees who continue working beyond Vietnam’s statutory retirement age. For the latter group, roles are adapted where needed to reflect individual health and capabilities, and overtime work is not required.
